Course Tour

The course is set over 130 acres of fertile land in the Bandon River valley.

It is nestled in the grounds of the old Castlebernard Estate and bounded by the original estate walls which date back to the 1700s.

Course Description

A short straight hole to an elevated green. The green is well protected with 3 bunkers and difficult slopes. Read More

A slow curving dog leg to the left. A tee shot with a slight draw over the white stone will give the best results. Read More

You will need to decide where you want to position your tee shot at this hole. Read More

This slight dogleg to the left will again need a positional tee shot, a 210 yards shot straight at the telegraph pole should do the trick. Read More

The first hole of 3 which the members describe as the Castle holes. Read More

The most difficult hole on the front nine. In the summer time the water may be reachable for longer hitters Read More

The first par 3 on the course offers a spectacular view of Castle Bernard. Read More

This is the first par 5 on the mens card. Also, the only hole without a Bunker. Read More

One of the tightest driving holes on the course. Read More

10

A long par 4 that requires a good drive to a nice flat fairway. Read More

How difficult can a 115 yard downhill par 3 be. You have been warned. Read More

A slight dogleg hole to the right. Aiming up the left side of the fairway is he best line to avoid a sloping fairway. Read More

A very difficult driving hole. OB on the left and large trees on the right. Read More

The most difficult hole on the course. OB runs the full length of the hole on the Left-hand side. Read More

15

The 2nd Par 5 on the mens card. A wide uphill fairway awaits a good tee shot. Read More

16

A short par 4 with a slight slope from right to Left. Length is not that important here but hitting the fairway is. Read More

17

A similar hole to the last except for OB all down the Right. Read More

18

A relief at last the 18th hole. Thats what you think. This hole has ruined more scores than won competitions. Read More
